1. General Information

Casa del Jaguar is a healing center that offers ancestral medicine ceremonies including Ayahuasca and Huachuma (San Pedro) in a traditional and safe environment. These services are led by experienced master healers with over 15 years of practice in Amazonian ancestral medicine.

By making a reservation or participating in any of our services, you agree to comply with all the terms and conditions established herein.

2. Participation Requirements

2.1 Minimum Age

Participants must be at least 18 years old. Valid official identification is required at the time of registration.

2.2 Physical and Mental Health Status

Participants must:

• Honestly complete the required medical questionnaire
• Declare any medical conditions, medications or current treatments
• Provide truthful information about their mental health history
• Consult with their doctor before participating if they have pre-existing medical conditions

2.3 Medical Contraindications

The following conditions are absolute contraindications:

• Use of antidepressants (SSRIs, MAOIs, tricyclics)
• Antipsychotics or mood stabilizers
• Serious heart conditions (heart failure, arrhythmias)
• Uncontrolled high blood pressure
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• History of psychosis, schizophrenia or bipolar disorder
• Epilepsy or seizure disorders
• Severe liver disease

3. Preparation and Diet

3.1 Pre-Ceremony Diet

Participants must strictly follow the following dietary guidelines for at least 7 days before the ceremony:

Allowed Foods:

• Fresh fish (not canned)
• Organic chicken
• Brown rice
• Quinoa and oats
• Fresh fruits (except fermented citrus)
• Fresh vegetables
• Purified water
• Natural herbal teas

Prohibited Foods:

• Red meat (pork, beef, lamb)
• Dairy products
• Alcohol and drugs
• Excess salt
• Refined sugar
• Processed foods
• Strong condiments
• Coffee and black tea
• Chocolate
• Fermented foods

3.2 Sexual Abstinence

Sexual abstinence is required for at least 3 days before and 3 days after the ceremony as part of traditional energetic preparation.

4. During the Ceremony

4.1 Behavioral Guidelines

During the ceremony, participants must:

• Follow all instructions from the master healer
• Maintain silence and respect during rituals
• Stay in the designated area unless otherwise authorized
• Not interfere with other participants
• Not use electronic devices
• Not consume unauthorized food or drinks

4.2 Dosage

The dosage of medicines will be determined exclusively by the master healer based on their experience and individual assessment of each participant. Participants cannot request specific doses.

5. Booking and Payment Policy

5.1 Reservations

Reservations must be made at least 15 days in advance. Full payment is required to confirm the reservation. Space is limited and assigned by order of confirmed payment.

5.2 Cancellation Policy

• More than 30 days: 80% refund (20% retained for administrative expenses)
• 15-30 days: 50% refund
• 7-14 days: 25% refund
• Less than 7 days: No refund
• Medical emergencies: Will be evaluated case by case with medical documentation

5.3 Exclusion for Medical Reasons

Casa del Jaguar reserves the right to exclude any participant who presents medical conditions that may pose a risk. In these cases, the corresponding refund policy will apply according to the timing of exclusion.

6. Risks and Responsibilities

6.1 Risk Acknowledgment

The participant acknowledges and accepts that:

• Ancestral medicine ceremonies may involve physical, emotional and psychological risks
• Experiences can be intense and challenging
• Effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and altered consciousness
• Difficult emotional or psychological content may arise
• Results are not guaranteed and vary between individuals

6.2 Limitation of Liability

Casa del Jaguar and its facilitators are not responsible for:

• Adverse reactions resulting from non-compliance with preparation guidelines
• False or incomplete medical information provided by the participant
• Undeclared drug interactions
• Undisclosed pre-existing medical conditions
• Decisions made by the participant after the ceremony
• Loss of personal belongings

6.3 Medical Insurance

It is strongly recommended that participants have valid medical insurance. Casa del Jaguar does not provide medical insurance coverage for participants.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

7.1 Personal Information

All medical and personal information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the ceremony.

7.2 Shared Experiences

Participants commit to respecting the privacy of other participants and not disclosing experiences, identities or personal information of third parties.

7.3 Photographs and Videos

Photographs or recordings are not permitted during ceremonies without express authorization. Casa del Jaguar may take photographs for its own documentation, and participants may choose not to appear in them.

8. After the Ceremony

8.1 Integration Period

Guidance on the post-ceremony integration process is provided. Participants are responsible for following recommendations and seeking additional support if necessary.

8.2 Follow-up Contact

Casa del Jaguar offers optional follow-up sessions. Participants may contact the center for support in their integration process within a reasonable period after the ceremony.

9. Legal Framework

9.1 Legal Compliance

Casa del Jaguar operates within the legal framework corresponding to traditional ancestral medicine practices. Participants acknowledge that these practices are part of recognized ancestral cultural traditions.

9.2 Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by applicable local laws. Any dispute will be resolved through mediation or, if necessary, in the competent courts of the local jurisdiction.

10. Modifications

Casa del Jaguar reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to registered participants and published on the official website.
